Logicor France is looking for an intern to join our French team, starting Q1 2025.

In France, Logicor’s team manages a portfolio of c.160 properties, offering c.3.5 million sqm of warehouse space (including Assets Under Management), strategically located along France’s busiest trade routes and close to its major cities.

Role Overview

Logicor is in a strategic development phase in France, so the Asset Management and Investment intern will assist the team in the management of standing assets in the portfolio as well as acquisition/disposal analysis.

The successful intern will work within the French team with the Asset Managers and the Investment team on the active asset management of big boxes and multi-let industrial (MLI) estates within France. The internship requires an individual who can work with the team, is motivated and can support the team on several tasks and topics, operating under a degree of independence. The intern will have a reporting line into one of the Portfolio and Business Analysts.

The internship will offer a unique introduction into the logistics real estate industry and how a leading player in this industry operates within it. There will also be in-depth training, challenges, and responsibility. During the internship, tasks may include:

Portfolio management:

  • Carrying out various financial analysis and modelling on request
  • Preparing, with support of the Asset Managers, the leasing and capex recommendations to be presented to committees and for board decision-making
  • Collecting data and keeping up to date different Excel databases for buildings and tenants
  • Verifying the accuracy of data in the company’s real estate budget planning and forecasting tool (Anaplan)
  • Assisting with the preparation of detailed regular reports, in liaison with the analysis teams in London (leasing, vacancies, risk leases, departures of tenants, unpaid, works etc.)
  • Assisting with the business budgeting process: leasing and capex
  • Developing and updating various reporting, in accordance with requests from various internal teams at Logicor Europe
  • Assisting with the documentation required for quarterly evaluations for the OPCI
  • Assisting with the preparation of business plan analysis (marketing assumptions, capex and opex)
  • Tracking rental activity, ongoing transactions, and forecasting for France

Asset management and investment:

  • Actively assisting with acquisitions and sales
  • Working with external letting agents to produce marketing campaigns
  • Assisting with lease renewals/targeted regears
  • Assisting with increasing the value of the portfolio by maximsing rental streams and added value initiatives
  • Assisting with analysing, arranging, and managing capex projects

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong real estate background
  • Accomplished interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently with rigour in a team in an international and matrix environment
  • Autonomous, able to take the initiative, entrepreneurial and results-driven
  • Dynamic and proactive personality, with interest in finance and real estate professions
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
  • Ability to work both independently whilst also contributing to the overall team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Graduate from a Business or Engineering School (Grande Ecole) or renowned university
  • Previous internships in Finance and/or Real Estate
